Brief history:

This branch revived early last year.

The membership now is 150

Students – 34

Youth    –   15

Adults –   101

We have a strong BMC and have formed other committee structures i.e. Resource mobilization committee, publicity and membership recruitment, Christian emphasis committee and yet to form the youth committee.

Youth programmes

Soccer – football

The BMC provided the youth with 2 balls expecting to capture them and keep them busy.

Along with the soccer training programme we want to take the opportunity to do some capacity building and introduce the YMCA saving policy.

Educational programmes

Nursery- 20 children

STD 1  - 7 children

Last year we closed the year with 17 kids but now we are starting the year with 27 kids.

Community project:

1. Tailoring and Dressmaking

We are waiting for STD 8 results in order to admit students.

2. Water project:

People are still registering for membership because we will give water to members only.

We want between 100 – 200 members for the project to succeed.

200 members will use – ¼ an acre per person

100 members will use – an acre each
